They participated in Grand Prix of Figure Skating and were awarded the Finlandia Trophy on two occasions. They finished 1998 in 15th at the World Figure Skating Championships. Semenovich and Roman Kostomarov teamed up for an entire season in 1999 following their partnership had ended. Kostomarov was the one together with whom she skated for two seasons at the 2000 European Figure Skating Championships in addition to the 2000 World Figure Skating Championships were in 2000 to win the Russian bronze medalist. In 1993, they placed 8th at a Junior World Championship, and in 1994, they were 7th. She worked briefly with Maxim Kachanov. Later, as a team, they placed 5th at the Goodwill Games. Both were successful in their partnership, winning the Finlandia Trophy two times and competing at the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Together, they accomplished more but the high point of their relationship was when they finished 15th at the 1998 World Championships.
